Today in class, we learned how to create a professional landing page using **Claude AI**. The lesson introduced us to how artificial intelligence can assist with web development by generating code, suggesting layouts, and helping us build a functional webpage more efficiently. Before we began, our instructor explained the purpose of a landing page and how it is used to present information, promote products or services, or encourage visitors to take a specific action.
The project was completed as a team, with each member contributing ideas and helping to build different sections of the landing page. We used Claude AI to generate HTML, CSS, and other elements of the website, making the development process much faster and easier. As we worked together, we discussed different design ideas, corrected errors, and improved the appearance and functionality of the page. The teamwork allowed us to learn from one another while gaining practical experience using AI as a web development assistant.
After completing the group project, our instructor asked each student to make personal improvements to the landing page. This involved adding our own creative touch by modifying the design, changing colors, improving the layout, editing the text, or adding new features to make the website more unique. These individual touch-ups gave us the opportunity to apply the skills we had learned during the lesson and demonstrate our creativity while maintaining the overall structure of the original project.
By the end of the class, I had a better understanding of how AI tools like Claude can support website development. I also learned the importance of collaboration, creativity, and attention to detail when designing a webpage. The exercise showed me that AI is a powerful tool for speeding up the development process, but personal creativity and human decision-making are still essential for creating an attractive and effective website. Overall, the lesson was engaging, practical, and gave me valuable hands-on experience in AI-assisted web design.
