Reflection on AI Image Transformation
The Bulls streetwear image made me realise how powerful AI tools like ChatGPT can be when creating and transforming images. By using a detailed prompt and the attached photo as a reference, AI was able to create a completely new 2000s-style portrait with a different outfit, accessories, location, lighting, and overall atmosphere. The original image was transformed into a vibrant streetwear and hip-hop-inspired scene featuring Bulls clothing, sunglasses, gold necklaces, a stylish cap, and an urban New York City background.
This experience also made me understand that AI can change the appearance of a person so much that the final result may look like a completely different person. The facial features, expression, pose, clothing, and environment can all be affected by the instructions given to the AI. Even when an uploaded image is used as a reference, the final result may not always keep every facial detail exactly the same. This shows how important it is to use clear prompts when you want AI to preserve a person's face and identity.
I also learned that AI image generation depends greatly on the quality and detail of the prompt. The prompt described the clothing, colours, accessories, pose, location, lighting, and 2000s hip-hop style. Because of these detailed instructions, the AI was able to create an image with a strong urban streetwear feeling. The vivid colours, blue sky, natural lighting, and shiny jewellery helped create a bold and fashionable look inspired by the style of the early 2000s.
