Admissions Open Now (October 2026): JUPEB And Pre-Degree Forms You Can Still Apply For

Every October the same message lands in a hundred WhatsApp groups: “Is the form still open?” By the time anyone answers, the answer has often changed.

So here is a straight answer, checked on 22 October 2026.

The Short Version

• Degree admission is mostly over. At AE-FUNAI, the last supplementary registration ended on 12 October 2026.
• JUPEB and pre-degree forms are where the open doors are. Several schools are still selling them.

Schools With Applications Open

Deadlines are the ones reported on school notices and admission listings. Always confirm on the school’s own portal before you pay.

About FUNAI, Since Everyone Asks

The official FUNAI news page shows the supplementary degree registration was extended to 12 October 2026. Fresh students are expected on 24 and 25 October. Pages claiming a degree form is open today are out of date. Read the full FUNAI breakdown.

Private JUPEB Study Centres

A private service, JUPEB Online Services, takes registrations for affiliated private study centres across the country, including a location in Abakaliki. Its page shows a form fee of ₦25,475 and a deadline of midnight on Friday, 23 October 2026. It states plainly that it is not the official JUPEB portal and does not represent any university, so verify any centre before you pay. The school-run programmes above keep their own deadlines.

Before You Pay Anyone

• Use only the portal address on the school’s own website.
• Ignore agents who promise guaranteed admission.
• Check the closing date on the school’s notice, not on a blog (this one included).
• Keep your payment receipt and application number.

We will keep this page updated as schools confirm or extend their dates.
