Old Admission Offers: JAMB Extends Deadline to November 30, 2026
If you were offered admission anywhere between 2021 and 2025 and never accepted or rejected that offer on CAPS, JAMB has given you more time. The new deadline is November 30, 2026.
What changed
JAMB announced the extension on its official X account on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The earlier deadline was September 30, 2026, announced on August 29.
Who is affected?
Any candidate with an admission offer from 2021 to 2025 that is still sitting unanswered on CAPS. JAMB wants these candidates to either accept or reject each outstanding offer.
How to act
- Log in to your JAMB profile.
- Open CAPS.
- Find each outstanding offer and accept or reject it.
Already admitted in 2026?
JAMB said candidates who were offered admission in the 2026 exercise, but who still have older offers pending, can reject the earlier offers without affecting their 2026 admission.
What is not yet confirmed
One report says candidates who do not act risk penalties or an automatic reversal of their admission status. We could not confirm the exact consequence from JAMB's own statement, so treat that as unconfirmed. We also have not seen any promise of another extension. Do not wait for one.
